“She is extremely smart, explains concepts well, and cares about listening to and helping her students. She was one of my favorite professors I’ve had at USC and I loved going to her class which I originally was not excited to take. She has a ton of real world experience and I feel like I’m leaving her class as a much better writer and more thoughtful about the world as a whole.” — USC Teaching Evaluation
I am an Associate Professor (Teaching) at USC. I have also taught at UCLA, the University of Michigan, and Northwestern University. Most frequently, I teach Advanced Writing in the Arts & Humanities and the “Issues in Aesthetics” Writing and Critical Thinking course.
I also regularly guest lecture and lead writing workshops on bridging the divide between academic and public writing for undergraduates, grad students, and faculty.
